Rainbow General Terms and Conditions

  1. The Warranty provided by our company for your Rainbow Air & Home Cleaning System is as follows:
    1. For Residential Use – F our (4) years Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ​ADDITIONAL Six (6) years Service Warranty.
    2. For Office Use – Two (2) years Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ADDITIONAL Two (2) years Service Warranty.
    3. For Commercial, Restaurant and Hotel Use - One one(1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ADDITIONAL One (1) year Service Warranty.

  2. Manufacturer’s Warranty covers on-site services within Thirty (30) km from our office in the address shown on this invoice without any charges for labour, parts*, materials* and transportation**, provided that clause No. 6 is not infringed.

    * Please note that Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover consumable items such as Bristles, HEPA Neutralizer, etc. 

    ** Customer will be billed for transportation charges for any services done in outlying area and we reserve the right to charge transportation fee for any services done in any other areas at any time during the Manufacturer’s Warranty period.

    Note
    : All Rainbow Accessories such as Rainmate, Aquamate, Rainbowmate, RainJet, MiniJet, etc. which are given as Free Gifts (Consumable items not included) only have a 6-month Manufacturer’s Warranty. 

  3. For Service Warranty, you shall be responsible for transporting the Rainbow to and from our Service Department, whereupon it will be serviced free of labour charges. You will be billed for any change of parts and transportation where applicable.

  4. ADDITIONAL 1st CALL SPECIAL MOTOR WARRANTY# – Due to the reliability of the Rainbow Motor, we are pleased to offer the following number of years of Extended Warranty on the Rainbow Motor itself :
    1. Rainbow Motor Warranty for Residential Use – Full TEN (4 + 6) years.
    2. Rainbow Motor Warranty for Office Use – Full FOUR (2 + 2) years.
    3. Rainbow Motor Warranty for Commercial, Restaurant and Hotel Use – Full TWO (1 + 1) years.

      This means that our company will also replace any part in the Rainbow Motor and Controller Assembly without any charges for parts and materials if the original motor failed within the FIRST 6 (a) / 2 (b) / 1 (c) year/s of the Service Warranty period.

      # This Additional 1st Call Special Motor Extended Warranty covers the Rainbow Motor and Controller Assembly ONLY and not any other Rainbow Parts. Please note that the Motor in all Rainbow Accessories (EXCEPT those given out by Gifts vouchers) such as Power Nozzle, Rainbowmate, etc. only has 4 years Manufacturer’s Warranty and you will be billed for any change of motor in all other Rainbow Accessories after the Manufacturer’s Warranty period.

  5. To be eligible for warranty, defects must be promptly reported upon discovery and your Rainbow machine must not be tampered with or dismantled in any manner.

  6. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from fire, accident, negligence, abuse, misuse, any manner of tampering, using of incorrect supply/voltage, using of parts or chemicals other than those provided by Rexair or the local Rainbow distributor, using not according to the owner’s manual, normal wear and tear, rust of metal parts or any unauthorized repair.

  7. This warranty is only applicable in United Kingdom and it is NOT TRANSFERABLE.

  8. You should promptly notify us of any change of address or telephone number in writing with proof of address.

  9. The terms and conditions of this warranty shall be contained exclusively in this document and no other presentation or provision, either written or otherwise, regardless of the origin of the same, shall be accepted as either adding or subtracting from these terms and conditions.

  10. Condition for Refund within 14 days:
    10.1. The cooling-off period for this contract shall commence from the day of delivery.
    10.2. In the event that the purchase require any financial services, you will be responsible for any handling fees, cancellation fees, and interest charges incurred.
  11. 10.3. Should you decide to cancel the agreement within the 14days cooling-off period, written notification must be provided to us with the serial number. This can be done through a letter or email.

    10.4. You will be responsible to the cost of returning the main unit to our office in their original condition along with all the accessories.

    10.5. Upon receiving the cancellation notice and the returned Rainbow, we will provide a refund within 14 days.

    10.6. The value of the Rainbow has decreased due to the fact that being used during the cooling-off period, we will deduct 10% from the refund amount to account for this loss in value. This will include all the wearable accessories such as Bristles, HEPA Neutralizer, etc.
    10.7. In the event that the Rainbow are damaged and deemed beyond repair, a refund will not be possible. You will be charged for any extra repair costs incurred.

Thermostar General Terms and Conditions

  1. The Warranty provided by our company for your Thermostar Steam Cleaner is as follows:
    1. For Residential Use – Four (4) years Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ADDITIONAL Six (6) years Service Warranty.
    2. For Office Use – Two (2) years Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ADDITIONAL Two (2) years Service Warranty.
    3. For Commercial, Restaurant and Hotel Use - One (1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase and thereafter an ADDITIONAL One (1) year Service Warranty.

    Note: All Thermostar Accessories such as Iron, Steam Air Evaporator, etc. which are given as Gifts voucher (Consumable items not included) only have a 6-month Manufacturer’s Warranty. 

  3. For Service Warranty, you shall be responsible for transporting the Thermostar to and from our Service Department, whereupon it will be serviced free of labour charges. You will be billed for any change of parts and transportation where applicable.

  4. ADDITIONAL 1st CALL SPECIAL BOILER & HEATING ELEMENT WARRANTY# - Due to the reliability of the Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element, we are pleased to offer the following number of years of Extended Warranty on the Boiler & Heating Element itself:
    1. Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element Warranty for Residential Use - Full TEN (4 +6) years. 
    2. Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element Warranty for Office Use - Full FOUR (2 + 2) years.
    3. Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element Warranty for Commercial, Restaurant and Hotel Use - Full TWO (1 + 1) years.

      This means that our company will also replace the Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element without any charges for parts and materials if the original Boiler & Heating Element failed within the FIRST 6 (a) / 2 (b) / 1 (c) year/s of the Service Warranty period.

      # This Additional 1st Call Special Boiler & Heating Element Extended Warranty covers the Thermostar Boiler & Heating Element ONLY and not any other Thermostar Parts.

Repair Terms & conditions

  1. If the repair is covered under its original warranty, the warranty for the repaired items will continue as per the original warranty terms provided by the manufacturer.
  2. In case where the Customer is paying for the repair and parts, we offer an additional 2-year warranty specifically on the motor and controller only (if they were replaced during the service). Please note that other parts are considered to be "wear and tear" items and will not be covered under any extra warrenty.
  3. Due to the specialised manual labour involved, once the Customer has signed and confirmed the quotation for the repair, there will be no refund available within 14 days. It is important to carefully review and consider the quotation before proceeding with the repair.

Gift Vouchers Policy

14 Days Refund Policy

Condition for Refund within 14 Days:

  6. The value of the machine(s) has decreased due to the fact that being used during the cooling-off period, we will deduct 10% from the refund amount to account for this loss in value. This will include all the wearable accessories.
  7. In the event that the machine(s) are damaged and deemed beyond repair, a refund will not be possible. You will be charged for any extra repair costs incurred.
  8. Fresh air, Floor cleaner, Carpets cleaner and fragrance are not refundable.
